The third in a series of three seminars working at the intersection of Education Studies, English, and Philosophy of Education. This seminar will consider the complex (multi-)disciplinary identity of English. The event will begin with presentations from Dr. Furzeen Ahmed (Aston University), Prof. Jan Derry (Institute of Education, UCL), and Prof. John Yandell (Institute of Education, UCL). The series is funded by the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain, in partnership with BA/Leverhulme, and is hosted by the Insitute of Research in Education, University of Bedfordshire.
